About WhoIsTheRef
WhoIsTheRef is run by Kyle McGinn (contact: mcginnkyle5@gmail.com). By using the site you agree to these terms.
18 and over only
WhoIsTheRef is for adults aged 18 and over. If you're under 18, please don't use it.
Statistics, not betting advice
WhoIsTheRef shows statistics about referees and matches, and probabilities calculated from them. It is information only. It is not betting, financial or any other professional advice, and nothing on the site is a recommendation to place a bet. Probabilities are estimates from past matches and can be wrong; outcomes are uncertain. Any decision to bet is yours alone. WhoIsTheRef doesn't take bets and isn't a gambling operator.
Accuracy
Match data comes from a licensed sports data provider (API-Football), and referee appointments from public announcements. We work to keep it accurate and up to date, but we can't guarantee it's complete, correct or current: appointments change, data can be delayed, and errors happen. Check official sources before relying on anything.
No affiliation
WhoIsTheRef is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Premier League, UEFA, PGMOL, the Football Association, any club or any referee. Competition and club names belong to their owners and are used only to identify matches. Club badges shown on the site are simple original designs in club colours, not official crests.
Using the site
You may use WhoIsTheRef for your own personal use. Please don't copy or republish the site's data or content in bulk, scrape it automatically, or try to disrupt it.
Our liability
WhoIsTheRef is provided free and "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, including betting losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes
We may change the site or these terms at any time. The latest version will always be on this page.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of the United Kingdom. The courts of the part of the UK where you live (England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland) have jurisdiction.
